.................WELCOME, THE SITWELL ARMS IN WHISTON. Another new night to look forward to. This lovely pub has booked its first for 20th May and i'll be booking this over the next couple of days. WOOP!
.................FULL HOUSE? CHECK. Good night? Check. Happy audience? Check. Happy venue Manager? Check. Want another comedy night? Check. So i'm already looking forward to a second night at The Bradshaw Tavern and a chance to re-arrange the seating to squeeze more punters in and make it perfect. Thanks to the acts, good work gents.
.................SPRING HAS FINALLY SPRUNG (At least for today) and i'm pleased to welcome THE ROCKINGHAM ARMS Rotherham and THE RIDGEWAY ARMS Mosborough to the FTT family of gigs. They're in april and may and i'll be booking acts for these this week. I'm very excited about both of these gigs and as my grandad used to say, you can never have enough arms.
.................GREAT START TO THE YEAR. Not only have i had some lovely gigs already but i've also got two new gigs of my own to promote. Sun 7th march sees THE BRADSHAW TAVERN, bradshaw host its first ever comedy night and thur 26th march a truly stellar night of comedy is booked for THE BRANCH ROAD INN, greetland. I'm as excited as a resthome when Englebert Humperdinks in town. The website is about to undergo some changes to incorporate FTT PROMOTIONS so there'll be plenty of news soon. WOOP!
.................ONE MORE GIG TO GO!! And that's all folks for 2009. Thanks to all who booked me, thanks to all who came and laughed and the gig of the year? Probably the furthest and the one i was certain would be hard work, Weymouth. Go on then, shittest... Saltaire, easy (cretinous bar managers fault not the audience). .................THE SCARIEST THING about this job sometimes is taking a booking. Like the one i just took for next august when its only oct. In another three bookings i'll be sixty!
.................SCARBOROUGH FAIR CANT TICKLED. You can take the lad out of Todmorden but he'll have no idea how to behave in public.
.................LIKE LAST YEAR, the Stockton Riverside Festival was a pleasure to play and to hang out with so many friends from the circuit at once. Also as the budget was a lot bigger it was a real honour to be part of the line up. The highlight was definitely once again watching Peter get all Chuck Norris, this time with a hapless photographer. Don't step on PVs blue suede shoes mister.
.................OH, THE HORROR! Had to share the dressing room with a lapdancer at last nights gig. Sometimes i envy myself.
.................AWESOME WEEK! Four great and very different gigs. New stuff flies, got a chance to do longer sets and next weekend HELLO CASTLE DONINGTON!

.................ALEXANDER LITVYNENKO! That gags been going down a storm for six months. Until the last few weeks where i've been getting a "Ooooh, you shouldn't say that" reaction. Yesterday i figured out why. Jade Goody. I really should read a newspaper now and then.
.................NEW MATERIALS taking shape (is it that time of year again?), the suns out, gigs have been good, the snookers on and i go to see AC/DC on tuesday. Life is good.
